I’ve found I do a lot of my best writing completely nude. I don’t know why that is. I first discovered this when I noticed that 90% of all of my biggest ideas were birthed in the shower. Since then, I’ve deduced that I find clothes to be a distraction. That my imagination works when I’m at my bare minimum physically. I’m not sure if there is a spiritual element to this, but do find it quite interesting. There is something very beautiful to me about the minimalism of it all. A person covered in nothing but their own imagination. I told myself I was going to start documenting my writing journey, and I felt like sharing the nudity element was important to that. I may in the future do a nude writing series of photographs and publish them, because I find the process of documenting an author writing in their natural environment to be an art in itself.
